How does Warp authenticate with Redbark?

Warp authorises with OAuth 2.1 in the browser — you approve read-only access once, and there is no API key to paste.

What can the AI actually see?

Read-only access to your connected accounts, balances and transactions (and, on the Professional plan, brokerage holdings and trades). It can never move money or change your accounts.

Does Redbark store the data Warp reads?

No. Each request is proxied live from your bank through the Redbark MCP server. Redbark stores consent records, encrypted tokens and minimal account metadata — never transaction amounts, descriptions or balances.

Which Redbark plan do I need for MCP access?

MCP access requires a Developer or Professional plan. Brokerage tools (holdings and trades) additionally require the Professional plan.

Where are MCP servers configured in Warp?

Settings → AI → MCP servers. Add Redbark via the JSON option using the server URL, then start it and authorise with OAuth 2.1.

Does Warp store my bank data?

No. Warp queries the Redbark MCP server live. Your transactions are proxied from your bank at request time and never stored by Redbark.

Sign up for Redbark and link your Australian bank accounts through CDR Open Banking. You consent at your bank — Redbark never sees your login.

Open MCP settings

In Warp, open Settings → AI → MCP servers and choose “Add” → “JSON”, then paste the entry below.

Authorise with OAuth

Start the redbark server in Warp and complete the OAuth 2.1 sign-in in the browser for read-only access.

Ask away
