Your bank data, in Cursor
Cursor reads the Redbark MCP server from your mcp.json and authorises with OAuth 2.1 in the browser. Its agent can then read your accounts, balances and transactions live as MCP tools while you build.
Connect Cursor in four steps
Connect your bank to Redbark
Sign up for Redbark and link your Australian bank accounts through CDR Open Banking. You consent at your bank — Redbark never sees your login.
Edit your MCP config
Add the Redbark server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (global) or .cursor/mcp.json in your project, as shown below.
Authorise in Cursor
Open Settings → MCP. Cursor shows the redbark server — click it to sign in with OAuth 2.1 and approve read-only access.
Ask away
Ask Cursor’s agent about your balances or recent transactions. It reads live, read-only data on each request.
