What can the AI actually see?

Read-only access to your connected accounts, balances and transactions (and, on the Professional plan, brokerage holdings and trades). It can never move money or change your accounts.

Does Redbark store the data ChatGPT reads?

No. Each request is proxied live from your bank through the Redbark MCP server. Redbark stores consent records, encrypted tokens and minimal account metadata — never transaction amounts, descriptions or balances.

Which Redbark plan do I need for MCP access?

MCP access requires a Developer or Professional plan. Brokerage tools (holdings and trades) additionally require the Professional plan.

Which ChatGPT plans support custom MCP connectors?

Custom MCP connectors are available on ChatGPT’s paid tiers (Plus, Pro and Business). Once added, Redbark authorises with OAuth — there is no API key to paste.

Does ChatGPT keep a copy of my bank data?

No. ChatGPT queries the Redbark MCP server live when you ask. Your transactions are proxied from your bank at request time and never stored by Redbark.
