Your bank data, in Cascade
Windsurf reads the Redbark MCP server from mcp_config.json and authorises with OAuth 2.1. Cascade can then read your accounts, balances and transactions live as Model Context Protocol tools.
Connect Windsurf in four steps
Connect your bank to Redbark
Sign up for Redbark and link your Australian bank accounts through CDR Open Banking. You consent at your bank — Redbark never sees your login.
Edit your MCP config
Add the Redbark server to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json using the serverUrl field, as shown below.
Refresh and authorise
In Windsurf, open the Cascade MCP panel and refresh. Click the redbark server to authorise with OAuth 2.1 for read-only access.
Ask away
Ask Cascade about your spending or balances. Every answer is built from live, read-only data.
